COVID-19 Update & Response

To our valued clients:

Thank you for trusting us with your veterinary care. This statement is in response to the pandemic and current public health threat of the Covid-19. We want you to know that we are following the CDC guidelines to keep our hospital, clients, and staff free from the virus. The staff has increased our already stringent cleaning protocols of the hospital to help reduce the transmission of the virus. Our staff has been instructed not to come to work if they or someone in their household is experiencing illness.

While Covid-19 is highly contagious from person to person, there is no current evidence that companion animals can spread the virus.

We are implementing only one person per pet in the lobby. All pets must be secured by a leash or in a pet carrier. If you would like to check in by phone and wait in your car until it is time for your pet’s visit, we will accommodate that as well. We highly encourage the use of masks while inside the hospital regardless of your vaccination status, however, we are not making it mandatory at this time.

We ask that you are transparent with our staff regarding any potential exposure or illness, this will allow us to determine the steps to take for the admission and discharge process, how to protect our staff, and to curb the spread of the virus.

When having a pet that is ill, we know that this can be a stressful time and we realize that the pandemic has increased that stress for everyone. We are here for you and are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care. We sincerely appreciate and value each and every one of our clients and greatly thank you for entrusting us with your pet’s veterinary care for the past 42 years.
