Steven Slusher, DVM

Veterinarian, Internal Medicine

Dr. Slusher's Bio

Dr. Slusher has been with Marina Animal Clinic since 2007. His interests are complicated and challenging cases that are not often seen in veterinary medicine. Dr. Slusher currently does not have any pet’s at home as he and his wife travel often. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, shooting, boating, fishing, and traveling.

Lou Anne Wolfe, DVM

Veterinarian, Surgeon, Internal Medicine, Ultrasound Certified

Dr. Wolfe's Bio

Dr. Wolfe came back to Marina Animal Clinic in 2019. She originally started here in 2000 and then left in 2004, to persue other career opportunities, but couldn’t stay away and returned here to her family. She stated that she was “so happy to be back and that she feels like she has returned home.” Her interests are surgery and porcine medicine. Dr. Wolfe has multiple dogs including Dallas, an English Bulldog, Franklin, a Chinese Pug, Speedy, a Dachshund, Noah, a Boston Terrier, and Tiger Wolfe, a Maltese Mix. She has variety of other pets including pigs, horses, and Beebop, a Siamese cat. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding and fishing.

Pippa Simmons, DVM

Veterinarian, Surgeon, Ultrasound Certified, Internal Medicine

Dr. Simmon's Bio

Dr. Simmons has been with Marina Animal Clinic in 2017. Her interests include dermatology and ultrasound. She enjoys being able to provide relief for the itchy and uncomfortable patients, and to give peace of mind to worried pet parents. She has several pets including Lee, a Boston Terrier mix, Joe, a Rottweiler mix, Maximus, a German Shepherd mix, Kris Kringle, a Bichon Frise mix, and three cats, Monica, Poly, and Agnes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling around Oklahoma.

Heather's Bio

Heather has been with Marina Animal Clinic since 1995. She has been in the Veterinary field for 30 years and is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. Her interests include therapeutics and rehabilitation, emergency and critical care, phlebotomy, and pain management. She is known for her ability to collect blood and place IV catheters on the most critical of patients. She has an Exotic Shorthair named Mooshee. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family, taking care of her pets, going to her son’s wrestling matches and travel baseball games, traveling, theme parks, real estate, cars, going to the lake, and spoiling her three grandchildren.

Letti's Bio

Lettie joined the Marina Animal Clinic in 2018. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program and is studying to become a registered veterinary technician. Her interests include assisting in surgery, dentistry, and providing emergency and critical care. Lettie likes meeting and taking care of all the patients that come into the hospital. She has a Holly, a Pitbull mix, and a cat, Kofi. In her spare she enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, and painting.

Theresa Panther

Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician Student

Theresa's Bio

Theresa joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2001. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program and is studying to become a registered veterinary technician. Her interests include taking care of hospitalized patients, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, and assisting in Cesarean Sections. She is a natural at phlebotomy and is an asset to our hospital. Theresa has multiple pets including Gabby, a Miniature Poodle, Gracie, an Australian Shepherd, Faith, a Chihuahua, and her two cats, Tommy Boy and Stormy. She enjoys watching movies during her spare time.

Lacy Rankin

Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician Student

Lacy's Bio

Lacy joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2014. She is enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program and is studying to become a registered veterinary technician. Her interests are our feline patients, including preventative, surgical, and critical care. She enjoys assisting the veterinarians and nursing care of all patients. Lacy has one cat, Vader. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and hiking outside of the clinic.

Alicia Suddath

Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician Student

Alicia's Bio

Alicia joined the Marina Animal Clinic in 2020. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program and is studying to become a registered veterinary technician. Her interests are assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetized patients, and recovering patients post operatively. She has two cats, Pepper and Frostbite. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies.

Autumn's Bio

Autumn joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2018. Her interests are taking care of critical care patients. She has multiple dogs, Santiago, a Pitbull, Smash, a Black Mouth Cur, King, a Labrador Retriever, Hustle, a Pitbull, Cow, a Blue Heeler Mix, Buck, a Labrador Retriever, Shortcake, a Pitbull, and Berlin, a Doberman Pinscher. She lives on a farm and enjoys taking care of all of her farm animals. In her spare time she enjoys barrel racing and working on cars.

Monica Baez, RVT

Monica's Bio

Monica joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2020. She recently graduated from Tulsa Community College in the Veterinary Technology Program. Monica’s interests are assisting in surgery, anesthesia, and nursing care of our surgery and hospitalized patients. Monica’s three dogs are her heart and they include Archie, a Boxer, Queen, a Siberian Husky, and Kiara (Kiki), a French Bulldog. She enjoys watching television and spending time with her dogs at the park in her spare time.

Amiee's Bio

Amiee joined the Marina Animal Clinic in 2021. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program and is studying to become a registered veterinary technician. Her interests include neonatal care, taking care of hospitalized patients, and emergency care. Amiee has multiple pets, including two pitbull mixes named Tealeaf and Po, four cats named Sherbet, Mouse, Noodle, and Chicken Nugget, and three reptiles named Glitch, Morla, and Flippy. In her spare time, she enjoys a variety of crafts, baking, and gardening.

Morgan joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2021. She plans on enrolling in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician program this year to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her interests include phlebotomy, surgical monitoring, taking care of parvovirus patients, and learning new skills and techniques in the field of veterinary medicine. Morgan has two cats, Hanson and Sarabi. She has two children, Bentley and Hazel whom she adores. In her spare time, she enjoys binge watching her favorite TV shows, spending time with her husband, children, and pets.

Jennifer's Bio

Jennifer joined the Marina Animal Clinic in 2023. She is a graduate of the Community Care College program and is a certified veterinary assistant. Jennifer is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program, and is working towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her interests include surgical monitoring, phlebotomy, and learning new methods in veterinary medicine. She is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary as their President. Jennifer has a daughter named Jazmine. Jennifer has two dogs, Evie a Chihuahua Mix, and Stella a Mini Aussie, as well as Oliver Jones, a cat. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and VFW.

Kim's Bio

Kim joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2020. She is one of the first people you see when bringing your pet here to the hospital. Seeing all of the pets coming in each day and getting to know them is what makes her heart full. She greets our clients and pets, checks our patients in for surgery and to see the veterinarian, and answers the phone. She has one dog named Oak, a Doberman. Kim enjoys camping, gardening, fishing, and making jam.

Clarisa's Bio

Clarisa joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2015. Her interests are taking care of all the patients that are hospitalized and especially taking care of newborn puppies. Clarisa also enjoys working with her coworkers as they are like family to her. She has two dogs, Sunny, a Labrador Retriever, and Dobby, a Chihuahua. In her spare time, she likes writing, drawing, crafts, video games, and binge-watching television.

Jesse joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2014. His interests are taking care of all of the patients that come in, especially the Rottweilers. He takes care of hospital maintenance and the grounds where we exercise our patients. He has several dogs including Lucy, an Affenpinscher, Jack, a Shih Tzu mix, Gus, a Chihuahua mix, and Floki, a French Bulldog. Jesse enjoys working on cars, especially his Maverick, playing video games, and spending time with his pets.

Toni's Bio

Toni joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2021. Her favorite part of the job is working with and handling the large patients that come into the hospital. Toni makes sure that all the patients are cared for to the highest of standards. Her goal is to make sure they go home feeling and looking better than when they came into the hospital. She has four dogs; Loki a Queensland Heeler, Pandora Moo a Labrador Retriever, Timmothy a Terrier Mix, Zaza Melon a American Bulldog, and two cats named Rajah and Freya, a Siamese Mix. In her spare time, she enjoys doing artwork and making things for her pets.

Aaron joined Marina Animal Clinic in 2020. He likes to work with challenging patients. These are patients that are fearful, have anxiety, are fractious, and even previously abused. Being able to calm their fears and getting their trust is very rewarding for him. Aaron has three pets including Nala, a Great Pyrenese mix, Xica, a Chihuahua mix, and Berlioz, a cat. During his free time he enjoys reading, playing video games, and enjoying the outdoors.

Hospital Pets

Maee

Maee's Bio

Maee became the boss of the Marina Animal Clinic in 2019. She was brought to us by a Good Samaritan after being hit by a car. She recovered from having multiple fractures, but, has permanent nerve damage. She loves to be pampered and loved. Maee has a full wardrobe and visits the spa weekly. Her interests are barking at people she doesn’t like, playing tug of war, and dressing up. Her favorite people are Lacy, Lauren, Mariann, Heather, and Autumn.
